Spleen 6 is a point I use a lot in the clinic. At university, this point is known as the three-yin channel. This basically means that the Spleen, Liver, and Kidney channels all go through this point. By using your thumb or finger on this point, you will affect all three channels.

WHAT DOES THIS POINT DO?

It tonifies the Spleen and Kidneys, and Harmonises the Liver, Calms the mind and invigorates blood. This means that this point is good for:

  • Digestion

  • Hormone imbalances (menstrual and menopause)

  • Induce labour

  • Anxiety and frustration

  • Insomnia.

HOW DO YOU FIND THIS POINT?

Place your little finger on the highest point of your ankle. Then place your other 3 fingers next to the little finger. Where your index falls is Spleen 6. This point may feel tender.

Do not use this point if you are pregnant.
